Gladstone Urgent Care’s story began with a night of pain that sparked an idea—and ultimately grew into a monumental success. In 2014, I woke up in the middle of the night with a sharp, paralyzing pain in my lower back that sent me to the emergency room. What turned out to be a kidney stone cost me approximately $3,300 for a visit that lasted barely three hours. Frustrated and disappointed with our healthcare system, I felt compelled to take action—determined to create a place where the community could receive quality care without the exorbitant costs of an ER visit.
In August 2015, Gladstone Urgent Care opened its doors. For nearly a decade, we proudly served the community of Gladstone and the surrounding areas. Our dedicated team provided prompt, compassionate care—treating everything from colds and minor injuries to performing lab tests, X-rays, and school or sports physicals. We took immense pride in making healthcare accessible, affordable, and dependable. Though we are now closed, we remain deeply grateful for the privilege of caring for our neighbors and friends over the years.
